One of the projects I’m most proud of from 2024 was planning and designing my own wedding, aka Kale and Steph Fest. Despite the wedding-planning anxiety, my designer brain loved dreaming up creative ways to make the event special and beautiful. I loved thinking about the entire experience and, most importantly, how our personalities could shine through in every detail. Every personal touch was considered—from the hand-drawn “mi amor” on the napkins to the illustration of Kale and me on the popcorn bags, the custom parchment paper in the burger trays, and even the burger flags!

Beyond all the graphic elements, it was just as important to ensure every detail in the space (aka the paddock) was thoughtfully curated. The show-stopping centerpiece was the hanging flower arbor that I envisioned and brought to life with the help of the craftiest lady I know (my mom), as well as Kale and his dad.

K+S Fest was a true reflection of us, in every decision and every DIY, and for that, I’m incredibly proud! You can check out more images from our day, featured in Hello May Magazine.
