KB’s Burger Shack

Our Summer Series event #2 was inspired by Kale’s obsession with burgers. He’s a self-proclaimed burger connoisseur, so the menu was clear from the start: a Matty Matheson-style P&L burger with onion bacon jam and our take on In&Out animal fries. For the design, since this event was all about Kale, I thought it would be funny to use a childhood photo of him as part of the branding. Fun fact: the original film photo shows him holding a winning hand of Uno cards—my heart melts at that cute little grin. We fully embraced retro diner vibes for this event, sourcing checkered parchment paper and red serving baskets to match the vibrant primary colors of the digital invite and sandwich board signage.
